About John

I'm a licensed professional counselor in Georgia, having worked in private practice for over 30 years. I hold a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from Purdue University, and as an undergraduate studied at Saint Louis University.

I’m a member of the American Counseling Association and the Metropolitan Atlanta Therapists’ Network. I’m also a member of the LGBTQ Therapist Resource in Atlanta and the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex and Gender Expansive Identities.

As an LGBTQ-affirming counseling professional, I offer a nonjudgmental and compassionate space. I truly value practicing in Atlanta's vibrant and diverse community. My clients reflect this rich tapestry, including busy professionals and individuals from varied economic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds, as well as those with diverse relationship styles and sexual interests.

After more than 30 years in practice, I've come to understand that it is the relationship between client and therapist that promotes well-being and growth.
